Are you eager to generate new leads and communicate with transport professionals in South Africa and on a global scale?

Book a virtual booth or become a sponsor at this year’s virtual Southern African Transport Conference (SATC). Taking place from 5 to 7 July 2021, the conference and exhibition are set to attract more than 2 000 transport professionals, engineers, academics, young professionals and government-sector specialists.

Exhibition opportunities at this year’s SATC Hosted on a state-of-the-art online platform, the SATC virtual exhibition will provide a dedicated branded space for organisations to share information, answer questions and start conversations with potential customers and leads. Your online booth will house your company banner, logo, promotional video and company profile, with a click-through to your website and a chat/meet function. The exhibition will run over three days and will be linked to and marketed during the main SATC conference.

The annual Southern African Transport Conference is Southern Africa’s premier transport conference, bringing together over 700 transport professionals to discuss, debate and learn about relevant topics relating to the exciting world of transport.

The conference is South Africa’s longest standing transport conference and over the last 38 years it has become an important contributor to and influencer in the national debate about transport in Southern Africa.

In the build up to the conference there is a call to enter research papers, which begins in the first half of the year, with only the top papers being selected to feature at this prestigious conference. Essentially all subjects presented at the SATC are based on research papers that are strictly reviewed and selected by the Technical Committee during February and March.

Save the date: Join us on 5, 6, and 7 July 2021 for the 39th annual Southern African Transport Conference online.

The SATC has always served as a forum to debate current transport related issues and we plan to remain doing just that.

Based on the huge success of SATC’s 2020 webinar series, the Southern African Transport Conference, supported by the South African Department of Transport and the International Road Federation, is delighted to announce that this year's conference will be taking place online.

The online event will be live-streamed on 5, 6, and 7 July 2021 with each day's programme running from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm.  Delegates will also be able to network and interact with various leading transport brands at the SATC virtual exhibition.

The theme for SATC 2021 is sustainable transportation through enabling partnerships and it is designed to provide delegates with the inside track on sustainable transportation solutions, and how different transport nodes can respond better to the needs of transport users.

This year’s exciting line-up at SATC will include keynote sessions, paper presentations, and interactive panel discussions on national and international transport issues and topics provided by top transport experts from around the world.

Virtual chat functions and other online, interactive tools will enable delegates to network, discuss and exchange information almost as though they are physically together. While the SATC virtual exhibition will enable visitors to source products online, request specific quotations, download information, and meet exhibitors through online chats.

The SATC organising committee is currently finalising the conference programme and will be issuing an update soon with more details.
